Talking NAD GK MB500 with 2 MBE210 stack

Well after having the mb212 combo and then the mb500 with a 115 cab I settled on the MB500 with A pair of MBE210 cabs , this kicks some butt. I am totally impressed with this rig for sure, I jammed last night with a hard hitting drummer and two screaming guitarist and no problem. i had the e.q. set flat the master at 3 oclock and the gain at about 10 oclock and just stomped it. I have played through the MB210 before and thought it was quite boomy so to speak and had to dial down the bass, the same with the MB212 I had . Not so with the seperate's I really think the voicing of the combo's are different than the MB500 head , I even played around adding bass in the e.q. and it never got what i would call boomy at all. I am using it stacked vertical and can really hear myself, the only thing I can see is trying to figure a way to keep the head from moving around. I also got a chance to play with the masterb and the G.I.V.E. circuit and man can this thing growl.. for most of my gigs one 210 will be enough but the two of them stacked is unreal , and is still just a one trip in to the venue ..

Great choice man. You will be quite happy with that setup.

Well I was in a host band for an open mic last night and am even more impressed than I was yesterday, this is just a very well rounded stack to say the least , I was out front for a number of songs that other bassist were sitting in for and really got to hear it . I was all over the club and just clean articulate bass was all I could hear coming from it. The only change i made from my first time out with it was to damp both cabs tweeters this was very simple to do for me.. it's rocking

How did you dampen the tweeters in the cabinets? I have the same setup and the tweeters are a little too bright for me, but don't really want to turn them completely off.
