Just got this setup over the weekend, and just have to say what a great rig it is for the $$$. I originally started off with a MB F1 and the hydrive, but I think it was a little too much tight and punchy meets tight and punchy. I ended up taking the MB back and grabbing the LH1000 and saving some cash along the way. Plus I'm sure many have heard of Larry Hartke's CS, which I've already been exposed to. Turns out the casters got left out of the box for the cab so I gave him a call. He took my address and said we'll ship those out pronto and sorry for any inconvenience. Can't complain about that. The rig sounds fantastic and has plenty of juice and will easily cover everything I do. Anyhow, here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.

The LH series are fantastic heads! My LH500 is the reason I sold my Euphonic Audio head.

Hey Thinker.... I actually played EA stuff too, had the "few day stint" with Markbass, and then got the LH which sounds awesome. Giving it another test drive tonight.

What a coincidence--I have my Markbass (combo) listed in the for sale forum . The Markbass is tighter/cleaner, but the sound doesn't have as much "weight" as the Hartke. I don't know how to describe it--there's fullness and just a bit of tubeyness to the Hartke that makes it sound and feel heavier than the LittleMark.

I know what you're saying! And I'm not much of a slapper, but I can sure dial in some mean "thump" and "sizzly" pop on that thing too. The hydrive 410 handles it all like a trooper too. Me likey!!
