NAD - Hartke L500 :)

Have been looking for a cheap head to mate with a Bag End I picked up for pennies...after a month of coming close to a couple good deals ($250 Walkabout grrrrrrrr and a $140 Yorkville XS400) today walked into Long and McQuade and saw a spotless Hartke L500 for $199. Snagged it, pretty pleased so far

obligatory pics:

Very nice, I'm thinking about getting one of these, I've been playing through hartke heads for 15 years now. At first I was turned off by the simplicity of the LH's, now I'm starting to really believe the "less is more" philosophy.

Good price too.

Man nice score!

If I saw one for that price I'd have to pick it up too!

they had in into a Mesa 4x10 at the shop that sounded HUGE....I can imagine a 4ohm 6x10 would be a thick wall of happy!

Its great im very happy with mine I have had the cab a while now but just got the amp in april. So far id say its the best amp I have ever had the cab paired with. but im not counting the ampeg svt that i used to try it out in the store. but all tube is out of my price range. Id love an svt for that crunchy tube grit and compression. but it wont happen any time soon.

I just got mine from the forum the other day and it's a great amp for the money. Not alot of features, but sounds great and easy to EQ. P bass and flats through warm punchy lh500 = bliss.

the LH series Hartke amps are really superb sounding heads in any price range. the fact that you can pick them up for so little dough is just icing on the cake.
