NAD Peavey 412F and 800 booster festival series

Sign in to disble this ad
Plugged it in and it works but very low in the volume department. Kind of like a 20 watt with 4 12 inch speakers. So here are the details the amp is a festival series 800 booster with 4 ohm speaker outs and just a level for the volume. This probably needs service because of the low volume. The speaker cabinet is a 412F 4 Ohm so what i can figure by googeling the amp should be putting out around 400 watts. OK i only paid $45 for the head and $40 for the cabinet total $85 is it worth it to have it serviced? Or does this thing need a regular amp to be with it? I am confused. any help would be app'd Thanks

It's a poweramp, you need a preamp in front of it. Read the faq's.

From the back of the Harke, preamp OUT to the Peavey. Make sure the output from the Hartke is adequet to run the Peavey, (you'll need to check the specs on both).
