I just snagged a Mesa Buster 200 head from the classifieds. I had been eyeing the Mesa Prodigy, but then this oportunity to get a great tube head for much less cash (which I could flip for my purchase price, if I had to) seemed to be a no-brainer.
Heavier than I expected 50lbs to be. Luckily, my PH115 has wheels, and I don't have to hold the amp while I play
Bright! Big, glassy highs (which can be tamed) sound brilliant for pick-like sounds when playing finger-style.
Cranking the gain gets me a fuzz similar to my Darkglass B7k.
Way flexy EQ.
Love it with my Nash PB 63. It is almost too bright for my JB 63 in the same settings, but the EQ can get me where I want.
All around, I'm pretty stoked on it.
