I won a Hughes and Kettner Fortress pre-amp on da Bay a few months ago. Made sure it worked OK. Put it on the shelf.
I also had a QSC PLX2 1804 that was evicted from monitor duty on account of JBL PRX612s.
My new EWI rack is now stuffed with the Fortress and 1804 driving my Berg NV412. WOW!!!!! Perfect match at 4 ohmns between power amp output and cab. Incredible headroom!!!
And I can drive other cabs(s) on the other channel!!!! |
