Name of the 1/8" mini screw on plug for most wireless transmitters. anyone?

I need to replace the screw on 1/8" end of a cable for a cheap wireless system. Not worth the $30 bucks for a factory replacement. It's a samson something or other.

Anyone know the official name of those ends so I can google a source?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum...couldn't decide where it should go.

I tried "locking 3.5 mm plug" on Google, and got some hits:

Gold Plated 3.5mm male stereo connector, 30-296

3.5mm Locking Plug on Markertek - America's Broadcast Supply House

Switchcraft 35HDLBAU 3.5mm Locking Stereo Plug, Black Handle and Gold Plug | Full Compass

Switchcraft is my favorite brand, though I haven't ever tried this particular plug type. They mention the thread type that the plug locks onto.

I bought a couple from Markertek to make some cables for my guitarist friend. They're high-quality.

Will that Markertek (also Calrad) model take a .250 cable? The thin cables keep breaking on mine. The replacement cable I bought has a Sennheiser (often unbranded) on it. I'm going to see if the threads fit on the Switchcraft because that one takes the larger .250 cable. It specs out better than the other ones on the market but costs several times more.
