NamponlayawayD... SVT CL content

Sign in to disble this ad
I love my Ampeg V4BH, but at clubs who don't understand that a PA isn't just two little speakers and a mic, it isn't loud enough (and it seems most clubs don't understand live sound anymore). So, I grabbed an SVT CL from GC used for $900, plus tax. Put it on layaway today. Time to (THROW MY AMP IN THE GARBAGE, BECAUSE VAGUELY MENTIONING SELLING IT AGAINST THE FORUM RULES).

Don't sell the V4BH- it actually has better tone, (to my ears) than the SVT-CL. Maybe you really just need a bigger speaker cab? Lots of players use those heads with a big cab, in a loud band.

Also, it might be inappropriate to post a for sale thread on this particular board.

How... Is this a for sale thread? I vaguely mentioned needing to sell my amp because I bought a new one...

Oh, get over it. I mentioned that, because I purchased something else, I'll be selling my old amp, jokingly. If that's against the rules, we're in communist China.

Ya know, for a positive, fun post, you've really screwed this up with all the negative BS.

Do you generally read posts from the inside out, from the end to the beginning? Because if so, then I understand where you'd make that mistake. Otherwise, you're full of ****.

It's in the amp forum.
It's a "new amp day" post, as per the title.
I talk about the NEW AMP I got.
I make a joking statement at the end about needing to sell my old one.

Jesus, some ****ing people...

You know what............

After the first mention of it being against the rules of the forum, the OP could have just simply edited his post and let the thread continue - But NO - HE had to be a tool about it.

But I guess in your mind, the ones that actually follow the rules and tried to point it out to him BEFORE the mods got hold of the post are the jerks..............amazing

Let the mods edit my post if they feel the need, which I doubt they would. However, the class tattletails will probably find something to get all bothered about.

Lighten up. You'll live longer. No one cares about your whining. Are you a mod? No? Then what's your excuse for ruining a perfectly good thread with garbage?

Picked the SVT Classic up today. Used it for practice. Sounds fantastic. Having the added clean volume really does make a difference in a band situation.

The V4BH sold online, assuming anyone's still all bothered about that.
