Picked up a Tecamp M210 from ebay for a good price. I've been fascinated by their cabs for awhile and been wanting to try one out. I've actually been completely happy with my Genz Benz UberQuad since I traded out the Streamliner for another Little Mark, but the thought of a kickass vertical 2x10 that weighs 40lbs is pretty tempting. Came with a nice cover as well. The HF horn has a really cool crossover network as well.
M 210

It actually felt so lite I had to weigh it for myself to make sure it was actually 40lbs, the UberQuad is 58lbs but its not that big of deal. I think a little over 45lbs is where cabs go from feeling like nothing to actually feeling "heavy". The Berg HS210 I had was physically smaller and weighed 52 lbs, but relatively speaking felt like a ton of bricks.

Anyway, I'll be doing a bakeoff this week to figure out which one stays and which one goes. I've done enough gigs now to know what I feel comfortable with in terms of volume, so this should suffice in that regard.

The cab sounds really good and surprisingly similar to the Genz in sound and volume with the tecamp being slightly mid-shy in comparison. (No I did not test them in this configuration, had both on the floor). The real test of course will be at rehearsal with some of my effects running.

Did I mention this thing is light?

I've been slammin' through a 2x12 Tecamp combo for a couple years solid. It's a fantastic little, light, powerful rig that gets the job done in every venue I play. Gareat Vintage meets modern tone with the 4.5" mid-high tweeter in mine... I'm yet to play a gig where someone didn't notice my rig and/or compliment my tone. Bonus It's little shy in the mids as you say... but also easily eq-able to suit any situation.

Pretty hard not to enjoy that 2x10 cab! Light, loud and unique... Cool cab... love Tecamp stuff!
