Need 800W @ 4ohms, stable down to 2ohms

I need suggestions to start my shopping.

OK. So I have this gorgeous Schroeder 1515L/tweet, it is rated 800W @ 4 ohms. Sounds awesome with my Carvin R1000 bridged, and with the dished handle and 51-lb weight it is a breeze to carry in one hand, so basically I *love* this thing. BUT it has this little kink: seems to dip below 4 ohms when I hit it low and hard, and my R1000 cuts out on "protect". No damage and it will start back up, but a little annoying during a gig, y'know?

So what I need is an INEXPENSIVE ($300 range, second hand is fine) power amp that will do 800W into 4 ohms, but is stable down to 2 ohms. 1 channel is perfectly OK. My only reserve is that I do not want to use a "lightweight" (10-lb, like the Carvin DCM-L series) amp, as that technology does not seem to like low voltage, and I can't live with that... and AC voltage regulators seem to start at like $800 and that's WAY beyond the budget for a band-aid. I will probably use the R1000 as a preamp (love love LOVE all its features) and just plug it into the new power amp youse are about to recommend to me.

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.

My DCM1000L has been rock solid run at 4Ω per channel. I'll never go back to using a lead sled!.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Just to update and close the conversation...wound up buying a Stewart 2.1 from another TB member -- each channel does 650W into 4 ohms and stable to 2 ohms. Plus it's a TOTAL beast bridged mono (1800W into 4 ohms), may never need all that but the price was right! I love the internet...
