Need advice 10"---12"---15"

Looking into new cabs and I'm not sure what to think of the popularity of 2x12 BASS cabs....

I've had 2x10, 4x10, 1x15 and 1x18
Even had a Mesa Boogie 1516BE

Please help shed light on the tonal characteristics of the 2x12 cabs

Also, any info personal experience on Aguilar, EBS or Epifani would be appreciated

there are no tonal characteristics of 212 cabs. all cabs need to be evaluated on their own merits, and speaker size has diddly to do with it.

+1. My favorite Epi cab was the 1x10". With another brand it was a 12", with another a 15".

Yup, what they said^. Buying a bass cab, you should make your decision based on what YOU hear, and forget spkr size, just get something with multiple spkrs, that sounds good to you. I'm partial to the Genz Benz Uber 212, but that's MY ears.
