Need a cabinet for GK MB800

I'm thinking about purchasing an MB800. What bass cabinet would you guys recommend for this head? I currently own a Eden Metro and a Thunderfunk 550 w/ 2 Aggie GS112's. I play mostly fingerstyle and some slap with my church. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I always had good luck with Aggie GS112's (any of their GS cabs actually) and GK heads.

GK works pretty well with most cabs IMO. Right now I use a pair of Bag End cabs with various GK heads. I also use a Mesa Powerhouse 412 for big gigs. They all sound great.

I'm gigging with a G.K. MB2-500 right now, but the plan is to upgrade to a G.K. MB-800 in the "very" near future.

The G.K. MB-800 will be driving my two Avatar Neo 210 cabinets stacked as a vertical 410.

I would second that suggestion. Or even better, since you live the States, get Don Oatman @ Low Down Sound to build you something similar: a custom 2x12 + tweeter, using the same woofers that Alex uses - the Eminence Kappalite 3012HO - vertically aligned, of course - in a cabinet approximately 20"W x 30"H x 16"D.

I'll bet you could get one for a really good price. And for clean, punchy, slaptastic tone, I'll bet it would rule.

The GK Neo 212's work exceptionally well with that head.
If you care to do some reading, BassGear did a review of that head+those cabs some time back.

GK 12s... NOT GK NEO 15s or 10s. You'd want a "warmer" cab with that head IMO
