NEED A GOOD PRACTICE RIG

Sign in to disble this ad
I have to admit that when it comes to amplifiers, I know very little. I attribute this to the fact that I play in church and go direct all of the time...so amplifers are not something I spend alot of time investigating.

I am currently running A Hartke VX2510 as my amp which is nice but......

I recently moved my music room down stairs and the amp (@ 60-70 lbs) gets to be a pain moving up and down the stairs when i go practice at someone's home (which we do periodically)....and my back is not getting any younger!

as such, I am looking for a good head and cab that are light but can stand out in a mix of 2 Marshall combos and potentially a keyboard....

I really do not need this to be a performance amp.

I would like nice performance and range of frequency.

any ideas would be appreciated!

if you want a combo. If you want to try head+cab MarkBass, GK, GenzBenz, Tecamp end others made very good and light products, c'mon... go to a well-furnished shop and try, try, try, try... and choose what's your favorite rig
