Need help/recommendation for a bass power amp with 6550 Tubes
 

Hi everyone maybe you can help me out.

I am currentlwy using the Sansamp Rbi rack edition which I connected to the Ampeg SVT-VR through the power amp in (basically bypassing the build in preamp) and I'm looking for a power amp to mount into my rack which would give me the same sound and specs as the buildin power amp from the Ampeg.

Any help or recommendation?

Ampeg sold the SVT-300 for a while, it was basically just the power amp chassis of the SVT. Might want to look for one of those. They pop up from time to time on ebay and the TB classifieds. I think there were two of them listed around the same time last summer or maybe the summer before. That would proabably be ideal. Otherwise you could always get an SVT-II or SVT-II Pro and just bypass the preamp.
