Need help troubleshootinhg my GK combo

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello everyone. I have a GK Backline 210 combo. Lately I've noticed a crackling sound when I'm playing at low volume, particularly when I'm playing the low B-string. I also noticed that the clipping light flashes when the crackling noise occurs. I just tried turning the volume up, and the crackling seems to have gone away, at least for now, even when I turn the volume back down. I have a 115 cab that I use with the combo, and I gig with them regularly. I first noticed this a few weeks ago, and have gigged since then, but no troubles at gig volumes that I could hear. The loudest I've taken the rig is maybe having the Master volume at 2 o'clock, and the Line-A volume at 12 o'clock. Could I have blown a speaker? Or maybe have a loose electrical connection? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim
