Need help with UNIVERSALAUDIO SOLO/610

...i bought it yesterday, so far it works. But the 3 colour signal LED only lights up at all when i set the gain above 11 o´clock with a P-Bass, Stingray or Telecaster. And it´s almost impossible to drive it hard so the LED would indicate it with the red light. Is this normal? Oh and the impedance switch has almost no influence on that.

use your ears to set the gain, not the lights or knob position. crank that puppy if it sounds good!

Using your ears is good, as the UA has that big knob, and we're not supposed to put anything smaller than our elbows in our ears. Plus, using your ears, you won't be able to look at the lights.

Turnin bakelite knobs is just so much more fun than klicking buttons on a software plugin

i'd start with both knobs on 7, with the Hi Z switch engaged and adjust it up or down by ear from there.
