Need more power but still want that B-15 tone.

I have an early 70's Gibson Triumph Bass and an early 70's B-15n. Problem is volume. The bass has very low output and the B15n isn't very powerful either. I am wondering if anyone could recommend an Ashdown model with some power or if you think the Ampeg PF500 might be enough umph. Also open to other similarly toned amps to the B15 with a bit more power. Thanks!

Use whatever head and cab that you need for the volume. Set it flat. Get a VT pedal. Set it for the "fliptop" setting, and send that signal to the FOH.

I'll echo the VT Bass recommendation.
You could just run it through a power amp into whatever cab you want and have as much power as you need.

If you have almost enough output, try a clean booster pedal between your bass and the amp. Used judiciously, a quality boost can work great. Turn it up just high enough to properly drive the input of your amp. If your rig is still not loud enough, it's time for a bigger amp.
