Need opinions from Markbass combo users

I'm playing at an outdoor wedding in a couple of weeks. There will be another band, and I can use their bass player's rig if I want, or bring my own. His rig is a Markbass 2x10 combo plus a Markbass 1x15.

Is it easy to get a nice bouncy, slightly grindy, high-midrange '60s tone from that rig? If not I'll bring my amp. We do country music. I play a J with flats.

Thanks for any opinions!

They are great combos. I find that notes come out clear. I want one but it' s just they are too expensive for me.

Yeah, start with the EQ flat at 12 oclock, and turn the VLE knob up to about 10oclock and you should be there pretty much.

Agreed, not too hard to dial in that sound. I use the same rig, but with a 12 instead of a 15, and it;s very flexible tone-wise. The mid presence is definitely there due to the neo speakers, and the amp cuts through a mix if you want it to.
