| I'd:
1. Remove the bottom two speakers
2. Take some sort of saw (I'd use a jig saw) to make the broken out section somewhat regular in shape (square or rectangular).
3. Install, on the inside of the cabinet, a piece of 3/4 in. plywood across much of the lower panel and attach it to the cabinet with glue and drywall screws.
4. Next, make a filler piece (plywood or similar that is the same thickness as the cabinet) to replace the wood that disintegrated, paint it flat black and attach that to the 3/4 in. panel with glue and drywall screws.
5. Drill four holes for new caster bolts (you'll need longer ones and do use T-nuts on the inside).
6. Reinstall the caster and the two bottom speakers.
