I'm not a big amp guy so I'm reaching out to folks on the forum.
I recently joined a group and I need an amp for the practice space. It's not a big space but we have a full drum kit, a full keyboard setup, a guitarist and 4 vocalists.
I've been bringing my 30-watt Fender practice and it's not getting the job done. I have a 200 watt Yorkville combo that is for gigs that I don't feel like lugging back and forth.
What I need is a cheap combo that can take up permanent residence in the practice space. It doesn't have to be pretty or even feature-rich -- it's just got to be loud enough to get the job done. (And CHEAP)
I ran across a used Crate BT-100 that I think will fit the bill. Its being sold at a reputable local store and I can get it for $150. Any reason I shouldn't do this?
