Need some HELP here!

Been gigging with my Carvin RC210-18 for a little over 8 years... my R600 head died a few weeks ago (I suspect one of my band mates dropped the damn thing last gig when I couldn't make it to to unload the equipment). Looking to replace it (maybe). Problem is that my cabs are rated at a combined 2-ohms... any suggestions for a replacement head at 600W or more that can handle the same load?

I would really appreciate any suggestions! I was looking at the Markbass line but of course they are all rated at 4 ohms....

Lot's of new and used offerings that'll play 2ohms both in mono bassheads and 2channel/stereo jobs that operate more like a PA poweramp. I can see the want for a 2ohm head considering the cabs you already have and that's ok, just don't get caught up in the "lowest ohms for more power, man" thing, it ain't worth it. In your case a stereo/biampable head would make the most use of your cabs, 18 for lows, attenuated 210's ( one ten would do it ) for highs.

Yeah... thing is I already got the cabs as you said... just need to power them... I'm curious now to see how much to repair my existing amp (if possible). If it's too much I'm buying a new one.
