Need Speaker Recommendations For 65 Ampeg B-15N Amp

Looking for recommendations for replacing the missing speaker in my Ampeg B-15N amp.

on the cheap: eminence beta 15 (sounds like the old cts speakers they used to use).

on the not so cheap: vintage jbl d or e140 (the d140 was the original upgrade speaker but the d and e 140 work better for bass)

i got eminence delta 15a's for my b-15 extension cabs, but i had a crazy plan to use them with a 500w micro head when i wasn't using the b-15n head. of course that all went to hell, so i'd probably get betas if i had it to do again. but if you ever have plans to use the cab with up to 300w, i'd go delta.

How about a JBL D-130, A friend of mind has one hanging around. But I think its a 15" - The speaker opening on my ampeg looks smaller?

Your ampeg will fit a 15 inch speaker if it really is a B-15N.

well the d130 was the original upgrade speaker so it should be fine.
