Hello,
I'd like to upgrade my rig with a new cab in the near future and I wanted to know your opinion on which cab would be the best choice out this selection:
Nemesis EN 410 XST, Epiphani Epifunky 410, Ashdown ABM 414, used SWR Goliath.
I mainly play funk/jazz, and I like a clean hi-fi tone. My current rig is a SWR Workingman's 4004 head with an Ashdown Mag 414 cab. I really don't like this cab, the low end is really muddy and undefined. If you have any other ideas of cabs in this price range (around 500$) that could work I'm interrested as well. (I'm in Poland where brands like Avatar for example are not available). Thanks.

i have played through an eden 4x10 combo before and can easily describe it as warm, clean, and powerful. can play the lowest of notes, not muddy at all. was used with an eden head. far as i know jazz and funk, i think it would be a perfect cab

The combo you tried, was it a David Eden or an Eden Nemesis?

Duno if the Nemesis XST is anything like the Eden XST but if it is voiced the same that is one sweet cab! it goes deep with a nice crisp top end - kinda opposite to the XLT version
