I found a new home for my Eminence Kappa Pro 15 speaker that has been collecting dust for the past couple of years.
I finished buiding it a couple of days ago. It was tested and sounds good with my Hartke HA1400 head that I got from a fellow Talkbass member a while back.
The cab is 23.5" wide x 22" high x 16" deep and is made from 3/4 pressure treated plywood top, bottom and sides, and 3/4 birch plywood front and back. All the materials used are leftover lumber from a home remodelling project that my brother and I are doing. (I'm unemployed and broke, so this is the best I can do for now.

) The back panel is recycled ~40 year old birch plywood from the original kitchen cabinets. The cab is screwed and glued using decking screws and carpenter's glue. The interior is reinforced with ripped pressure treated 2x4s that are ~1" x 1.5". The speaker wire is made from repurposed heavy guage 2-wire extension cord hard wired to the posts on the speaker and a 1/4" speaker jack soldered on the other end.
I'll post more pics after the speaker is put back in. I removed the speaker to stain and finish the cab.
