New amp

Not that anyone cares but I got my new fender rumble 350 in. So I thought I'd post a pic. Click image for larger version

I played with that head at my local Guitar Center. I really liked it, but it was just barely out of my price range. I came unbelievably close to buying the cabinet you have.. congratulations.

Ah, ha, the 350 head with a 4X10 cab--a very good decision. I have the 350 combo and while I tried not to like it, I keep going back to it, even after plunking down a grand for a TC Electronics 450 head and 2X10 cab (I like their cabs, not the head). I think you went the right route. Congrats.

I was like you. I didn't even start a NAD thread
on mine because the amp doesn't seem to have
a lot of love here.

I think it is a very nice amp. It's easy to use and
has a nice Fender voicing. I got mine on clearance
at GC for $250. I use it as an at home amp with
an old Fender M-80 1X12 cab. I can hook a second
cab, but it is fine at 8 ohm and 175 watts at home.

Hope you don't mind if I post a pic,

Tabdog

my old bandmate has the head, he didn't really like it. To be honest though - I really dug it, nice snarly switchable distortion, good bassy clean tones (though I'm not picky), and not very heavy at all.

When I got the head, it was clearanced at gc for 250 then when he rang it up it came up at 205. The cab I got online for 225 including tax, so I'd say I did good. Unfortunately I haven't got to play it yet. I am at work right now. My guitarist/singer hooked it up for me and set up the eqs. So I'm pumped to play it! It's way better than my old rig! Hahaha

I'd say you done real good. I hope it works
out for you. It should. It took me a while to
get to where I liked to use the overdrive. I'm
just not a fuz fan. But I finally got to where I
like a little of it in the mix.

Is the cab 4 or 8 ohm?

Ha. Different strokes...

I like their amps a lot. Have no use for their boxes.

Oh, & OP, congrats on the 350.

If it sounds good it is good looks like it can shake some paint off the walls.

I have that cab, but with a PF500 head. I read that the 350 could be as loud as a competitors 600w. I am going to Sam Ash later today and try the 350 to compare.
