I just got a vintage univox amp sunday. It has no model name anywhere, and inside the chassis where the model name is printed, the name is blurred out. Anyone have an idea as to what model this is as it isn't listed on univox.org...
Anyways its got two 6l6s, two 12ax7 and one 12au7. Three inputs, deep and sharp switches and volume, bass, and treble knobs. Its only got one speaker jack which I suspect is meant to run 8ohms. It looks like it has the stock tubes... General Electric pre and RCA power....
Its currently in the shop getting a 3 prong cord installed and getting a fluctuating volume issue fixed out... I ran it through my b15 cab and it sounded pretty sweet, and I had an extra set of brand new mullard 12ax7 so I'm putting those in there as well...
Anyways here are pics (crappy cellphone pics) and if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it...
She's very clean I might add... for 40 something year old amp...
Thx for pointing out its a 1235
