New amp day: Ampeg Micro VR

Just opened the box still need time to have my way with it.

I'm very excited about this amp. I already have a primary bass amp. In main group I double on slab bass and archtop guitar so I use an EA Micro 550 -> Bag End S15-B which is awesome btw.

This guy will be used as my (puts flame suit on) synth/loops amp. Ampeg Micro VR -> Acme low b2. I figure this would give some nice subtle grit to the sound. In the same group I also run Ableton Live for loops, synths, etc... I know already I dig the amp for bass but for my needs it will be a glorified electronics amp.

(yes I carry two full rigs with me, just in case no PA or PA sucks)

thank you micro amps for making this scenario much easier on the back.

pictures to follow.

this amp has some balls. It definitely feels louder than 200 watts off initial home inspection.

Should have known better than to leave my V-4 and the LMII together, unattended.

No, seriously, that's a cool look. If that thing can drive the Acme nicely, that's doing pretty good!
