New Amp Day! Eden WT800C [Logo Missing?]

Sign in to disble this ad
I received a used Eden WT800C bass amp today from Guitar Center and it looks great, except that the backlit logo is missing... It was pictured there on Guitar Center's used gear website, but it has vanished without a trace when I got it!

As for the amp's functionality, I assume it'll work fine; I won't have a chance to try it out for a couple days though because I'm waiting for my new cabinet I bought to arrive.

Here are some pictures:

Contact Eden CS and they'll send you a new one, probably free.

Nice amp!

Eden CS will probably help you out. Looking forward to a test report when you have a chance to play through it.

You might have better luck over on the Eden Forum - the actual CS guys hang out there.

I've read reports that the logo can fall off inside the head. Are you sure it's not rattling around in there?

Just checked; I don't see it anywhere in there.

Just opened up the amp to be extra sure, and I found the logo! Just need to glue it in place now.

Too Cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got an early Metro, and a Navigator pre, and I have never seen an Eden amp emblem with a light. Which years/models have this lighted emblem? Old ones?, new ones ? Way Coooool !

IIRC its the newer ones. I had an early WT-800 that just had the plain static logo

Still a great head though, enjoy!

I'm an SWR fan, but Eden is probably the only other amp manufactorer that could lead me astray. That thing looks awesome! I've played a few in my time and they build a truly great product. Congrats on the new baby!

The WT1205 and WT800C (note the C) are the only models with a backlit logo.

The info on my profile is outdated. I actually sold my 410XLT, but I'm getting another one tomorrow. Yeah, sounds odd I know. I was planning on getting a couple of 210's or something but then I decided to go back to the 410.

My Eden D410XLT cab arrived today, so I was finally able to try out the new amp.

I can describe the amp in many words, but the two that stick out the most for me are warm and versatile. Having only played it for about a half hour now, I've been able to get so many different tones out of it, all of which have that great Eden warmth. I'll write more about the amp later, I just want to go jam on it some more.
