So today, I went to Guitar Center, armed with a $500 gift card and some money from our band budget. I was looking for a Gallien Krueger MB200 and a 410 MBE 800W. While neither was available, they did have a lone 400RB and some sort of Neo 600W cabinet. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I paired them up, and it was instantly awesome. It pretty much inherently has the tone I've been trying to get for months out of my old rig. It's really easy to get a wide range of tones out of, and still fairly portable. while it's still 200W, it packs a massive punch and is much louder than my Acoustic B200 combo could ever get. I can push it to full volume levels on everything with no clipping (I don't intend on doing so, but it's nice). As a nice side effect, if I boost the level and gain volumes a good bit, I get a really nice, thick fuzz. I think I'm able to drive the amp so hard because the cab can take far more power. Sounds awesome.
The head was used and the cab new. I got them both with 2 year warranties and a speakon cable for $540.
Now that I look them up, however, the head seems to be discontinued and the cab seems to be.... non existent. There doesn't seem to be a 410 with a 600W power handling. A little confused, so if somebody could shed some light, that would be great.

The 400RB is really old (but a very desirable amp), went through the 400RB III and 400RB IV soon to be re-released.

That is a newer grill and G-K logo on the 410 cab!

The Neo and MBE series 410's are 800 watt input, the MBX is 400 watt input. Could be a discontinued BLX? No rat fur so not the SBX with a grill change. Do you remember if it has a horn or ported? Cell pic is not the clearest.

Maybe a RBX series.

interested to know what it is - important thing, of course, is that it sounds good...but info is fun!
congrats on the new rig...that head will likely outlive most of us

One year warranty is very good.
If the OPs 410 cab was a blx there would have been a "BLX" at the lower right of the grill.

Also, mine doesn't have casters or spring loaded handles like the RBX. I bought the cab looking for something transportable, and it's really bulky and only has a top handle.
