New Amp setup! MarkBass and GK inside!

Sign in to disble this ad
So after weeks of going back and forth, trying these out and putting them through their paces, I made my purchase. I couldn't be more pleased. I am a hobby player, and my previous rig was just too excessive. Behold! (Sorry for the crummy cell phone pics! Also, I don't know why they are sideways)

Specs:

MarkBass Traveler 102p 8ohm cabinet

Gallien-Kruger MB Fusion

What can I say? Not only is the cabinet MUCH lighter than my old one, the sound is brilliantly clear. The amp packs a wonderful punch, and I had it dialed in to a sound I loved quickly.

I've finally mastered the bass, does anyone know what those other 3 strings are for?

The clarity is amazing. My Thumb sounds so good through this setup, I didn't want to put it down!

I had a Warwick Xtreme 5.1 and WCA 4x10 cabinet. It was a nice rig, dont get me wrong, but it wasn't giving me the sound I was looking for, not to mention it weighed a ton.
