New amp for TC RS210?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys, I'm looking for a new amp for my 2xrs210 stack. I currently use a little mark, but I just find it lacking character in the mids. I don't know if its the cab or the amp. A lot of people compare the tone of the rs210's to the hs410 berg cab, but i love the way the berg sounds with the markbass, but not with the rs210s. When I get going with the band, its seems like i lose definition and just here lows and treble. When I boost the mids, its just not good sounding to me. I'm lost! Help me find my way. Paging KJUNG!

Oh, and I've tried the rh450 and tried multiple times but couldn't like it.

I had the same issue with the RS210s when paired with either my RH450 or Aguilar DB750. I'm just not a fan of those cabs, though many people seem to love them. I returned mine and have a Berg HS210 on the way as a replacement. My Aggie GS 410 and 210 cabs also did not have any issues with lost definition like the RS210s had.

I think its a case of sounding great alone, but in a band, i lose the definition and just get a big mid scooped sound. I just want to know if its the cabs or the little mark, I'm leaning towards the cabs are the problem now that you have the same thoughts.
