Not that I necessarily need a new amp but it is just time to buy something new. So I am down to three options, all of which are used and should be priced around $600. Option 1 would be a markbass 12" combo CMD121P. I have played this in a gc store a few times and always like it. Option 2 is a Phil Jones suitcase. I have actual owned one of these and loved it. Option 3 would be a Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 10T. This is the only option I have not played and have never actually heard. There are good and bad about all three options. The markbass has lots of power in the combo and a great ability to expand to a very big sounding rig. The Phil Jones has incredible tone and quality, and the Genz Benz I have heard is a top of the line piece of equipment. I know a lot of this depends on my needs and wants, but if you were making the choice what do you think you would do and why.
