New cab arriving soon for a gig. Ideas?

Taking delivery of an SVT810E in a few days, just in time for our first gig of the year. Planning to use a Peavey VB 2 to power it. I could use an SVT 3 Pro and/or Trace Elliot AH-700 (500 watts 4 ohm). I wont have much time to learn about nuances prior to the gig -any suggestions? This gig is in a large gymnasium type environment. We play classic rock. Thanks!

I'd not use a new piece of equipment on a gig without checking it out throughly first.

I agree to a point but what does it take to check a cab? Power it, crank it to make sure it will take what you are feeding it, check you are ok with the sounds it makes.
