New Cab Day!!! Mysterious NEO Carvin.

Sign in to disble this ad
I'd been looking for a new cab lately for my B800. No real reason other than GAS really.... Anyhow I see this Neo 410 at the Carvin Ebay store for a great price and jumped on it. It's called a NB410NEO. The description was "This item is the same as a BR410N, but has upgraded Celestion speakers" The pic is of a BR410 go figure.
I just opened the box and can tell you it's not a BR410. It's ported. It looks more like a BRX10.4 but it's carpeted. Weird, I can't find anything like it on their site. It's 2:00 A.M. I work 2nd shift so I can't crank this thing but 1rst impressions are it's well built and light. Pix tomorrow.

Pix finally. As if ya cared
Played this rig at an open jam last night. Guitar player was using a Mesa Stiletto with a 2x12. Fairly loud drummer. I cut through no problem. I could feel my playing. God I love that.

If you happen to run into one of these buy it. It sounds great and at about 65 lbs it's pretty light for a 4x10 I'd say.

These cabs are sold in the European market. Carvin also sells a ported BR210N that's rarely available on the Carvin Ebay store.

Don't know why they don't Duratex 'em and sell 'em in the US.

UK Carvinites apparently want the Celestians while the US gets the reduced XMax B&C speakers.

Nice cab.
Love the carpeting.
Did you get it from a dealer or private seller?

Thanks,
I got it from Carvin's Ebay store. You can get crazy good deals there but of course the inventory is always changing so you have to keep checking.

I have the NB210 - Carvin eBay deal as well.

It's something like a halfway house between the BR210-N and BRX10.2-Neo, but cheaper than either (at least on eBay). Sweet cab - the cats especially appreciate the carpet and much prefer it to Duratex.
