Kustom has a new micro head out called the KXB500. Guess what, it's small, light, and 500 watts...what a surprise.
Anyways, it seems pretty inexpensive. What do y'all think? |

Not sure the lack of parametric active EQ will make such a difference. I'd like to hear this; if it's the same 'Organic Overdrive' guts, the extra power would be a bonus. It's a beast for practice and the couple of open mics I taken the 200 to; 500 would be killer. Thanks for the heads up.

| | | | I'm definitely a fan of the "les is more" concept when it comes to sound and I like my tone to big, fat, and vintage instead of bright, tight, and zingy. I hope these become available in some guitars stores to try soon. |

I think it just a little pricey at the moment.
Kustom has a few new products out, include a 5w Class-A for under $100 to some people seem to want.
I wonder if we'll see an Acoustic label on some soon. With GC warranty and exchange behind them these could be a good buy.

| | | | Kustom gear is actually pretty decent. I really like the Deep End combos. Our little Kustom powered PA system (The Profile 200, on sale at MF.com for 299.00) is a great little PA for rehearsals and smalls gigs. It’s been a real champ! |

| | | | i think it would be extremely successful if it was 300 rather than 375 or so, i feel many people will pay a small amount more to get the ampeg pf500
