New Eden WT 550 for $699! on Ebay

I found a new WT 550 amp, new on Ebay, but it was a floor demo. I am very excited that it was way lower than a new one at $899 from Musicians Friend. Can't wait for it to arrive.

I will run it with my Eden 210T and 115XLT. I will be replacing my GK 700 that is starting to fail on me.

Yes I did. It will be shipped next Tuesday. I bought it last night. I bought a WTX500 for $650, but I was really concerned about the size 12" box, 4LBS and durability. I returned it today back to MF today.

I liked the layout of the WT 550 from the pictures I saw and the one that I had. I also was happy to see that it comes with rack ears. It is bigger weight and size wise and is a hybrid amp. I play classic rock, so this looks like the best bang for the buck to me.

Can't wait for my next rehearsal next Friday.

The 550 smokes the WTX in every category except weight IMO. The WTX I found to be underpowered. I have a 550 that I gig with and use the WTDI preamp pedal into an Ampeg PF-350 effects return in my practice space to approximate my live tone. You will not be disappointed with the WT550.

It is a nice amp, I've had mine for about a year, got it used, but in very good condition. I gig about 4 or more times a month, and it has never let me down. I push a Epifani PS410 (4ohm) cabinet with mine, and I get all I want with this setup!

I love my 550 alot. start with eq at 12 oclock. read manual to set up the gain settings. what kinds of cabs/ohms/size are you using?

is it a 550 c? 2 ohms minimum? if you are not sure maybe stick with two 8 ohm cabs and play it safe... good luck! hope you like it!
