Played one this weekend at Bass Player Live , a great amp, i loved it, i would say it's about 3/4 of the size of the 502.

Nick did it right!

800 watts @ 4 ohm
1400 watts @ 2 ohm
only 8 lbs

Is there a time when Nick doesn't do it right?

Is there a time when Nick shows something at a GTG and it actually is introduced to the market in the same decade

Nice specs! I'm interested to hear how it sounds and what the price is...

I'll hopefully be able to check this out soon, too. As soon as Anthony Jackson is done touring with it.

I'd buy that in a heartbeat if I had the cash! I love my 502 and no other amp gives me my sound like the 502.

Curious about the specs on that spec-sheet, though. Looks like the B/M/T controls are boost only? Or is that just a typo? If it's like my 502 set "flat", then it won't really matter much...

Class AB... interesting. That's a lot of class A/B watts in a reasonably small box.

Nice EQ points.. shame no semi-parametric mid, but the variable level mid cut at 800hz is nice.

I again don't believe we will ever see it, but maybe I'm wrong this time.

Sure hope you're wrong! As soon as this hits market, I'm scooping one up from Scott.

We are almost at 4 years from the original prototype, and every year around NAMM, the Picollo, or whatever is 'a month or two away from introduction'

We shall see.. I bet it will be a pricey little bugger. If the pre is similar (or the same) as the 502, I'm not very interested... one of my least favorite amps. But, who knows! Hey, version 3 of this non-existent amp has been 'avaialable now' on Bass Central's site for over a year! Hah!
