I just got an INSANE deal on an Aguilar GS412 in like-new condition for $475!!!!! (sorry, had to brag a bit)
I had suspected that this might be the cab of my dreams, and boy was I right!!! I can't believe how balanced this cab is, how tremendous the bottom end can be while still retaining such clear and punchy mids and crisp but smooth highs (I turn the tweeter all the way off and then turn it up until it is just barely on to add just a touch of 'air')
Running my Genz Benz GBE750 into this is HEAVEN!!!
Just thought I'd share...

I guess it would be great if it were a little smaller and lighter and still sounded the same, but I don't find it difficult to move or lift into my truck...and if it were smaller it wouldn't look as BADD-ASSS!!!!!

I don't have the guts to buy a big cab like that
I always tell myself, a 212 is enough......

-JV | This is absolutely a truck owner's cab! I have a DB 412 that bought from a guy who hauled it around in a little hatchback! I have no idea how he did that and kept it so clean... |

Damned G.A.S.!!!! |

Honestly, the DB750 isn't even the best match ... certainly good, but the cab sound so great and juicy, anything will work in front of it as long as it isn't too flabby. T-funks, Mesas, SWRs ... they all work great. The 659/750 can be a little foggy with the 412, depending on your taste. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
