The New GK MBE-II Speakers Look Great!!!

The new GK MBE-II cabinets aren’t showing on the GK website yet but they’re listed on Amazon and they look really nice, lightweight and very affordable.

Thanks Bob. I guess I'm having problems finding it. The main GK webpage I’ve been watching is http://www.gallien-krueger.com/ And I’ve been clicking on “products” and then “cabinets” http://www.gallien-krueger.com/products/cabinets/ and only the Neo cabs are shown, no RB’s, MBE-II‘s, etc?

But I did find the new GK MBE-II cabinets listed on Amazon with pictures.

For example ~

210MBE-II
http://www.amazon.com/Gallien-Kruege...krueger+mbe-II

115MBE-II
http://www.amazon.com/Gallien-Kruege...krueger+mbe-II

212MBE-II/8
http://www.amazon.com/Gallien-Kruege...krueger+mbe-II

410MBE-II/8
http://www.amazon.com/Gallien-Kruege...krueger+mbe-II

PS - I’m sending you a PM.

Yea the new cabs were on the site a week or so ago but now I am only seeing the NEO cabs.

I am interested to see how much they will be here in Canada at L&M, I would love to pair them up with my new (used) MB Fusion.

yep, both the Neo and RB cabs were on the site last week - but, I didn't see the new MBE-II cabs. The site is still in the process of updating so they should be on the site soon - or already and I have an old link? Anyway, yeah two 115MBE-II cabs with your MB Fusion amp would be awesome or the 212MBE-IIs, 410MBE-IIs and etc.

Yea I am looking at the 115's, the Fusion has surpassed my expectations for sure, I originally got it as a back up for my GB Shuttle 9.0 but is has quickly became my main amp.

I’ve used a GB Shuttle 6.0 once and it was a really nice amp - different than GK amps but still nice. Anyway, yeah I think two 115MBE-II cabs or two 212MBE-II/8 cabs would be ideal for the MB500 and your MB Fusion amp. And I think two 410MBE-II/8 cabs would be ideal for the MB800 and the new MBFusion800 amp coming soon and I think the MB200 paired with the new 210MBE-II will be sweet too.

quick question. i have a MB 500 amp paired with a 210 MBE (8 ohm) cab. will there be any issues (either sound-wise or stacking) adding a 210 MBE-II (8 ohm) to this setup?

thanks in advance

I also have a quick question: can a powered cab be used with the MicroBass combos? Adding a 2x12 powered speaker to one would be all I'd ever need. Thanks.

The GK MBP cabinets are designed to work the new GK MB-II combo amps and GK doesn’t recommend anything else.

Any reviews for any of these cabs in particular? They are pretty affordable and I'm looking for a solid 2x10 to pair with an Ampeg Portaflex 500 (an alternate to the Portaflex cabs).
