| Welcome to Talkbass. There are dozens of straight-up good answers, and dozens more of "good for somebody" answers, so you need to do two things:
1) Specify a ton more about your needs, wants, expectations. Tones, genres, size of venues, clean/dirty, one/multiple channels, old/new school looks or vibe, price range, new/used, cabs to be used, ruggedness, and personal biases (e.g. "must be tube", or "nothing from XYZ brand", etc.). I know I said price range, but hear it again: your real, actual budget (not "affordable" or "reasonable" or "won't break the bank").
2) Start reading this forum. We have literally thousands of threads discussing light reliable heads. Just start at the top of the page and keep going. You won't run out of reading material. |
