| New head or power amp/pre amp?

I am about to start looking for a new rig for going on the road, and I want to know your opinions on this issue: Would you rather have a normal setup i.e. head and cab, or would you go with a power amp, pre amp, and cab? I am weighing the options on both, and just wanted some outside opinions. I play hard rock and want plenty of headroom and power to hold down the rhythm. Thanks. |
