Well, when you put it that way, I kind of agree with you. But...

+1 It actually looks pretty cool, but the whole modeling thing leaves me cold. Never heard a model that didn't sound like a model. Of course, I am old and set in my ways If anyone can pull this off, it would be Markbass.

All I was looking for this year was semi-para mids on the Big Bang. Dang. Modeling amp? I'm not interested.

LOL, I was thinking about this the other day. Man, that's alot of product discontinued. Was'nt it last year, or the year before they introduced the " Club " line of cabs at Namm ?

They seem to have put a lot of emphasis on the MoMark line over the last 24 months, which replaced almost everything else in the product line.

Not sure what their US sales versus EU sales are, but my guess is Guitar Center has a HUGE impact on their product line, since if GC decides not to 'import' a particular model, then that model literally doesn't exist in the US. I would think with GC's troubles, they are getting VERY picky as to what products within a product line they are going to mess with.

looks like it might be the mark studio software wrapped in a box. that's not necessarily a bad thing, mark studio is the only decent amp software I've found.. wonder how much they'll charge.

I think Markbass have lost touch with bassists.

All we want is a really cool version of the LM2/3...or F500, with a few more features, better limiter, maybe a 100W more, and a slightly lower price...and they will continue to sell. No tubes...leave that to the TTE.

Exactly. Again, I absolutely LOVE my 121P and the NY 121 Extension cab. However, I can't see how a company can possibly afford all the R&D, marketing and advertising, distribution, etc only to discontinue these same products a a few short years later.

I can't help but believe that someone (or 2 or 3....) was shown the door, very unceremoniously.

To me, it's mind boggling.

I missed out on the F500. I think that was their best amp, and it's gone.

not my cup of tea. I'd like an amp that does less I'll happily stick w/ my LMII . . . but it is good to see them constantly trying new things.

Looks like they listed the specs for the Dvmark Multiamp
Mark Bass knows a little about making bass amps. I'm sure they'll adjust it.

Well, but look what they put into the Big Bang. It has a lot of things folks have asked for (they just stopped short of adding the semi-parametric mids that I want).

Would like one of these without a power amp. Looks like a solid piece of gear.

I wonder what kind of price they are putting on these. Could be monumental. Or they could have skimped on power amp power in favor of price.

Edit: looked at european prices. Looks like roughly 2 grand is what they're asking.
