The Mesa Hollywood guy was hush hush a few years ago but alluded to "something with KT88s" when I pressed him, so hopefully that will still come to fruition. |

I don't expect any more out of those 6L6. The kid in me wants to see a ridiculous 8 kt88 amp or equivalent for my stupid loud projects I get into. |

Really you're looking at between 20-25w per tube, at best. Conventional wisdom about the 400+ puts it around ~280w
