Is that implying that the big cabs are sealed?

Looks like the PH1000 is DC'ed. That'd be an upgrade to the lineup.

Resurecting this zombie. Anyone try these yet? They have been out for a while and I can't find reviews on them anywhere. I am curious how they sound compared to the regular PH cabs.

Mesa got back to me (no sellers of these cabs know what they sound like).

Regular PH cabs: Hi-fi with the player control network/tweeter, slight scoop

Traditional cabs: No tweeter, more midrange growl; "super high quality vintage style cab"

I wonder if these cabs are as loud/efficient as the powerhouse cabs?

Sounds like I might like the Vintage 412 more then my current PH412, I love the middy growl I get from this cab and if the new ones have more.. Oh man.

My local store has some of the traditional 115's and a 410 I think, haven't tried them out yet but an employee put a strategy and prodigy on order for me and is gonna give me a call when they come in so I can decide what I want. If these new cabs sound anything like the old ones there are gonna be a lot of happy Mesa players!

Is there a 412 in the Traditional series?

Doesn't look like it. I'm sure the 610 or 810 would be a great cab too, though. I also own the PH610 and find the 412 to have a slightly more aggressive tone to it with both cabs horns off. Love both of them, but the 412 gets taken out whenever the band has a show.

Would love to hear any feedback about these cabs. Anyone pair them with a Walkabout yet?
