32 pounds for a 250 watt 1x15 combo... not bad. Looks like they've got GK's MB series in their sights.

I guess the three-way can actually be quite loud?

Heck for that price you could afford to buy the Mb110, strip the plate amp out and stick it in your own cabinet. I wonder how it'd work as a plate amp for a loudspeaker with all that eq

Hmmm, interesting. I was thinking about a GK MB115, but these look good. I like the eq, especially.

They've kept the parametric mids, which is a great move, too.

I've always the best use of the graphic EQ has been to bypass it, anyway.

EDIT: Whoa, I just noticed that they have a 12/6.5/tweeter three way combo for $499. I can't wait to hear some reviews for this guy.

The question for me is "is 250 W enough?" If it was double that amount (into 4 ohm) it would be really great. The three way (heck even a two way with a mid driver and woofer) combo sounds like a great idea.

I may have to pull the trigger on one of these. the 12 6.5 combo may find a home North Texas.

sure seem like a good idea... but I'd have to hear one...and I have not been impressed by the Carvin rigs I've played through.

Looks good
And no silly marketing tube.

3 way looked interesting, until - some marketing spew got in there:
"12” NEO HORN LOADED WOOFER"

Version 2, they'll just make it a flat baffle and a little larger.

It'd be nice if they made it big enough for a 3012LF drop in

Care to elaborate? I've liked(not quite loved)Carvin- the little 1x10 here looks like a possible perfect practice amp for my low-medium volume stuff.

i've never tried their amps - but always wanted to get one of their custom guitars. finally decided to get one and the whole experience sucked. the salesman was a dick, I had to photoshop what my instrument would look like (which is ridiculous), waited almost double the time to get it and in the end it took me longer than 10 days to realize I didn't like it (was away most of that time).

now 2 years later I'm still posting it for 1/2 of what I paid for it and still cant get rid of it. the taste in my mouth is too foul to consider giving them any more money.

I know it's not any representation on their products, especially their amps - but I feel I got burned. gonna feel that way for a while.

fwiw these amps look cool . . . but so do the GK's
