New Rig Day: The Tower of Power!

Just wanted to share with you guys pics of my new rig.

I had a really heavy SWR Workingman 410 last year and sold it and bought this Dr. Bass 212 cab because it was lighter and more efficient. I also sold my heavy hartke HA2500 head. I kinda wish I woulda kept that one for a backup, but oh well, you live and learn. After selling the head I bought a Carvin B800 head which I absolutely love. I was very happy with this set up but recently, I've thought about adding another cab because of a new project I'm working on and low and behold I find a like new Dr. Bass 1x15 here in the classifieds. Now my rig is complete and I couldn't be happier.

Currently I have the 1x15 sitting on top of the 12s. I think the rig looks better this way and in our practice space I can't tell much difference. Does it make any difference?

Thanks to the TB classifieds as well, my amp and both cabs were bought there and that was a great experience!

Here is a pic of the rig:

Nice

Awesome dude! I have a Carvin BX1200 sittin on top a pair of Dr. Bass cabs. The love for Dr. Bass has dwindled lately but he made me some great cabs for the money 2 years ago.
If you ever need another head, try the new Carvin B2000. It's a great head and I want one bad.

My "big gig rig" is similar to yours: a Dr. Bass 2460, atop a 1580, driven by a Carvin B1500. It's always been loud enough.

Congrats on your rig!

Thanks for the love fellows!

Dr. Bass cabs are amazing and a great value used. It's a shame he hasn't run his business more successfully. Also, Carvin heads are great and I will most likely stick with a Carvin. Quality affordable gear=Carvin!

I love the look of a matching set of cabs. Looks like a killer rig!
