New Rig: DHA VT1-Bass/LMII/Mesa PH 115

So I've been bitten by the old school bug.
I was looking for a rig that would give me a nice deep motown tone and also do a dirty tubey tone without harshness. Weight, transportablity, and money were all a concern.

What I came up with is:
LMII with a DHA VT1-Bass in the effects loop into a Mesa Boogie Power House 15 with the tweeter turned off. So far it rocks!!!

Total cost $850 (a deal in my book!).

I am using a MIM 50's RI with DR. flats.

Volume is not a concern as we never play without a PA and the DHA has a killer DI.

Pics and Clips to come we are going in the studio Saturday.

Sounds nice. I have the dha vt2 with a shuttle 9. Does that bypass the preamp on the lm running like that? I havent bypassed the genz pre yet to experiment and get the propper dha pre sound.

Looking forward to a pic or two cause it doesnt exist til then!

I do not bypass the LM preamp but I could if I just went to the DHA in instead of the the LM input.
