New Rig: SWR 750x and Goliath Senior 610
 

Just picked this rig up via craigslist. So far really digging the tone and punch. The 750x with this cab really seems to push some serious air. Won't really get a chance to see what it can do until rehearsal Sunday, but so far very impressed.

The overdrive seems pretty cool, but the sub octave won't get much playing time with me. Really doesn't seem to follow the notes very closely and imparts a strange kinda chorus/delay effect. Since it's a used head, maybe its just not functioning properly.

Any how, really stoked to put this rig through its paces.

I had a 750x for four years. Really great head and with that cab is a perfect match for sure. I agree on the overdrive being cool . I used it as a slap volume boost and just kept the gain on the stacked pot low. sub octive was cool for intro's but def better ones if that's your thing. Good luck enjoy the rig
