|  | Registered User | | Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Oregon, USA | | | I'm playing with these cabs here at home and am really amazed by how great they sound. Very finely tuned, but not hi-fi; like a bass should sound, to my ears.
Using the WalkAbout, the Bag Ends beg me to set everything absolutely flat, which isn't a past inclination of mine. I EQ a bit from there, but it seems to be for the room rather than any inherent coloration (other than a wonderful richness) that the speakers impart. Watch the classifieds for a few Schroeder cabs if these prove out.
Can't wait to get this rig up to speed!

I'm most curious about how the E's going to hold up after hours at a good volume. It's told these really can't bring on the bass like an old 2x15 - that's fine - I'll take sweet round attack down to the E that stays tight and doesn't flub or get mushy. If I use the walkabout I don't think I'll have the means to overpower them.
