Nice

Very nice rig. Bet it would sound good playing some old heavy classic rock like Zep or Sabbath!

I'm playing with these cabs here at home and am really amazed by how great they sound. Very finely tuned, but not hi-fi; like a bass should sound, to my ears.

Using the WalkAbout, the Bag Ends beg me to set everything absolutely flat, which isn't a past inclination of mine. I EQ a bit from there, but it seems to be for the room rather than any inherent coloration (other than a wonderful richness) that the speakers impart. Watch the classifieds for a few Schroeder cabs if these prove out.

Can't wait to get this rig up to speed!

Funny, I mentioned to my guitarist last night that I had new speakers on the way, and he got a bit excited and asked, "Do they look BIGGER?"

Congrats! As a Walkabout owner, I've wondered how this combo might sound.

Thanks for your kind wishes, everyone.

I'm most curious about how the E's going to hold up after hours at a good volume. It's told these really can't bring on the bass like an old 2x15 - that's fine - I'll take sweet round attack down to the E that stays tight and doesn't flub or get mushy. If I use the walkabout I don't think I'll have the means to overpower them.
