there's a 10", a 12", and a 15". The 10" and the 15" are very good...the 12" is SUPERB. A/B it DIRECTLY with the Markbass single 12 combo with the piezo tweeter - the Markbass, with back pickup, sounded honky and awful, needed tons of EQ. The Traynor (Long & McQuade, the Canadian music store giant's house brand) sounded AMAZING. 200 watts, great, no nonsense preamp, 12 Celestion, its about 1" bigger all around than the Markbass, virtually identical weights (I couldn't tell the difference when I picked them up)... Markbass = $1100.00...Traynor $450.00....Long & McQuade has a winner on their hands. And one of my students has the tc electronic 15" combos...the Yorkville sounds BETTER. No lie. I have NO allegiance whatsoever to Yorkville, and have absolutely hated EVERY bass amp they have ever made till now...and YES I have tried them all. http://www.long-mcquade.com/products..._Combo_Amp.htm
Fantastic things. Really. Light, small, deep punchy, got a DI with pre/post, you can turn the tweeter off if you like, and Traynor/Yorkville stuff is generally as reliable as Peavey, that is to say, bulletproof, and up to now has sounded about as bad.
Best small combo on the market under $2,000.00.
